BS 5051

Bullet-resistant glazing - Part 1: Specification for glazing for interior use - Part 2: Specification for Bullet-resistant Glazing for Exterior use

Although technically this has been superseded by EN 1063, it has been the benchmark within the UK for many years.  The specification includes a standard for bullet resistant glazing for hand guns, classified as GO, G1, G2, rifle specifications are classed R1 and R2  and Shotgun as S86.
